Fishpond

At Holiday Park 't Hooge Holt you will enjoy hours of fishing fun at the centrally located fishpond, which is exclusively accessible to our park guests. For the ultimate experience you can specifically book a house at the fishing location, so that you can cast out your fishing rod directly from your own terrace. In the pond swims a varied stock of fish species, including wind, roach, perch, predatory bleak, pike and bream. Because you do not need an official fishing license at our site, this location is the ideal place for both the experienced angler and enthusiastic children. It is the perfect place to relax in peace and enjoy the nature around you.

Welcome to our fishing pond! You may fish here without a permit provided you follow the rules below:

Permitted fishing spots.

Fishing is only allowed behind your own home or in the designated fishing spots.

Not Allowed

• Feeding fish is prohibited due to acidification and pollution of the water, which is detrimental to fish stocks.
• Night fishing is not allowed.
• A maximum of 2 carp rods are allowed per bungalow.
• It is not allowed to leave a rod unattended, not even with digital monitoring.
• Caught fish must be immediately returned to the pond; taking them with you is prohibited.
• Control & Enforcement.
• We have a fish inspector who visits the pond regularly to monitor compliance with house rules. Always follow his instructions.

In case of ambiguities

If these rules do not provide clarity in a particular situation, the fish inspector or the front desk will decide. You are requested to follow these decisions.

Fishing in the area

There are plenty of opportunities for fishing in the region. Please note that you do need a permit for this. This is available at Tankstation Oosterveen in Gramsbergen.
